On NowA multi-medium presentation of knitted installation, ceramics, and prints framing creativity as social critique and personal processing.
From ARKEN Museum of Modern Art
A jungle of knitted sculptures made from plastic bags, imaginative ceramic figures and monumental linoleum prints opens up Kenneth Rasmussen’s artistic universe. Rasmussen’s practice links personal experience as a person with special needs to broader social questions around norms, creativity, systems and belonging. His process transforms “mental clutter” into visual language, making art both healing and critical, with expressive forms that combine intimacy, humor and activist energy.
