Yoko Ono is a Japanese-American artist, musician, and peace activist whose instruction-based conceptual works have shaped avant-garde art since the 1960s. A founding figure of Fluxus, she pioneered participatory and text-based art and collaborated with John Lennon on major peace campaigns.
