Founded in 1962, the Hong Kong Museum of Art is the city's oldest public art institution, housing a collection of over 17,000 works spanning Chinese antiquities, calligraphy, painting, and New Ink art. Situated on the Tsim Sha Tsui harbourfront with views across to Hong Kong Island, it reopened in 2019 following an extensive renovation and expansion.
