The Glyptotek holds one of the world's finest collections of works by Paul Gauguin (1848-1903). In this exhibition, many of the museum's Gauguin works return for a new presentation that offers fresh perspectives on familiar pieces. The Gauguin collection is shown in dialogue with Japanese-Sāmoan contemporary artist Yuki Kihara and her video work First Impressions: Paul Gauguin. Together, the works open exchanges across time, geography and cultural frameworks....
