Ny Carlsberg Glyptotek

City Center, Copenhagen 🇩🇰

Founded by brewer Carl Jacobsen in 1897, the Glyptotek is one of Copenhagen's most distinctive museums, housing an extraordinary collection of ancient Mediterranean sculpture alongside 19th-century French and Danish art. Works by Degas, Gauguin, and Rodin sit alongside Greek, Roman, and Egyptian antiquities. The building's celebrated Winter Garden, a glass-roofed atrium filled with palms, is a destination in itself.
