Cecilia Vicuña (b.1948, Santiago) is a Chilean poet, visual artist and activist whose six-decade practice spans painting, textile installation, film and performance. She is known for her precarios (small ephemeral sculptures) and quipu installations rooted in Andean non-alphabetic communication systems, and was awarded the Golden Lion for Lifetime Achievement at the 2022 Venice Biennale.
