TIME TO LOOK – brings together more than 60 paintings made by Suzanne Baker, dating from 1996 to the present. She paints narratives in oils in a loose, intuitive way, working frequently from personal memories. Other paintings in this show have mythological subjects including a series about Callisto and Arcas, based on Ovid’s Metamorphoses. Born in Hampshire in 1946 Baker lived and studied in London, moving to Kent five years ago....
