Fall, leaves, fall
12 September 2026 to 11 October 2026
A free show of works by nine Royal Scottish Academicians responding to the natural world, from falling leaves to autumn hues and the last of the September sun.
From Royal Scottish Academy
Fall, leaves, fall takes its title from Emily Brontë's poem of the same name, in which the Brontë welcomes the arrival of autumn. Mirroring the poem, the exhibition will capture a sense of transition as the Scottish summer gives way to autumn, with falling leaves marking the changing season. Fall, leaves, fall is an opportunity to explore works created in response to the natural world, highlighting autumn hues and the last of the September sun.
