EndedRankin draws on Milton's paradox of "darkness visible", creation mythologies and religious texts to build compositions where accumulated paint and stitched lines move between cellular and cosmological scales — mapping cycles of collapse and renewal against the uncertainty of the present political moment.

Known for her unique visual grammar, which sees gestural passages of paint brought into tension with embroidered thread, Jessica Rankin presents a new body of work that finds inspiration in the unity of creation and destruction.
