Contemporary Art

Kapoor's sculptures operate at the extremes of scale and material, from deep concave voids and polished mirror surfaces to vast accumulations of wax and pigment. Born in Mumbai and based in London, his work consistently destabilises conventional perception, including his immense public piece Cloud Gate in Chicago.
