Minimalism

American artist who rejected composition and expression in favour of single, unitary objects made to precise specifications from industrial materials including plywood, aluminium, and Plexiglas. His stacks, progressions, and large installations at Marfa, Texas are central works of Minimalism, defining the relationship between object, space, and the viewer's physical experience.
