Lynn Chadwick CBE RA (1914–2003) was a British sculptor celebrated for his angular, tension-charged bronze figures. Winner of the Venice Biennale International Prize for Sculpture in 1956, beating Giacometti, he forged an international reputation with works in major collections across Europe, the Americas, and Japan.
