The first public gallery in the UK dedicated solely to photography, the Photographers' Gallery has been a cornerstone of the medium's development since 1971. Located in Soho, it presents rotating exhibitions spanning documentary, fine art, and experimental photography from both established and emerging practitioners. It also administers the Deutsche Börse Photography Foundation Prize, one of the field's most prestigious international awards.
